Good Morning @noromance!
@uberwaltz,

Good to know brother.

Growing up analog is a (hard habit to break.)

Wait,... wasn’t that a song title?

BTW, I own the CD.

James, Yep, part of the family. Will get with my family over the weekend. ( the part I’m responsible for).

Celebrated Mom’s 90th today as well.

Uber,

We got it all baby... Ocean, mountains, and for good measure , we through in all the humidity you'll ever need!

I think you'd be very comfortable in Texas after reading the above.
I have an lp by 3 artist's. From memory it's Shawn Mullens, Matthew Sweet, and someone else. This will drive me crazy until I find it.
I’m most of the way through "Spend the Night". Highly Recommend!!!! on ROG!

This just had to be originally, an analog recording. Sounds fantastic!
Well Uber, it's probably our most progressive city. Just by that aspect alone, I get the comparison.
My copy of The Donnas "Spend The Night" arrived recently...first time on vinyl, courtesy of RunOutGroove. Ordered it last year actually.
I guess I’m their only fan here because I’ve never noticed another mentioning them. I think they rock harder than any previous (girl groups).

Yes even harder than The Runaways.
Travis "The Man Who"

Uber, you may know of him since you are from across the pond. Great voice, great songwriter.
No one here besides me has ever mentioned him.
Fran Healy frontman of Travis
The worth, the meaning, the soul of the music has greater meaning now than ever before!
From my memory, Shawn Mullins had a radio hit in the later 90s. After that, The Thorns lp came out. Then I have no memory until Jim mentioned him.
@spiritofradio,

Gonna clean and give a listen to "The Thorns" later. I find it perfectly interesting that you knew it!
@noromance ,

You are correct my friend. I apologise to all involved.

Thanks for the correction.
@ghosthouse ,

You, "Thread Killer"? If that is true, it’s just one more thing we have in common, as I had thought I held that title.

The more discussion the better as far as I’m concerned.

@boxer12,

How’s "Double Negative"?
……………………………………..

Mark Knopfler  "Get Lucky"
time to rock out...

The Vines "Winning Days" probably an overlooked lp from the early 2000’s. The SQ is Ex.
Gregory Alan Isakov "Evening Machines" …..wonderful, as was/is the above lp.
Hey @ghosthouse ,

Funny you mention that, because I just noticed it in my email from TMR. But to answer your question, no. I ordered it last week and received it a couple of days ago. I now own 4 of his lps. I've been a fan for a while and he just keeps getting better, IMO.

PS, I may have one-upped you on our "Thread Killers" debate. I believe I was just, not long ago, partially responsible for someone completely removing a thread.
Welcome @aqueousaris,

Rolling Stones "Live/San Jose '99"  side 3&4 (right now)

up next....Amy Helm "This Too Shall Light"
FINALLY! I have two people here that get my humor. What a great feeling!
Hey @boxer12, I'm responding to your ongoing (rack) construction...…..
Bruce Cockburn  "Stealing Fire"

BTW, "Cycles" may be an overlooked lp, SQ=EX!
The Thorns lp is well worth seeking out. It's obvious these are three veteran, talented artists. Really nicely constructed songs with beautiful harmonies, reminiscent of CSN. Did I mention I really like it?
@uberwaltz,

The Donnas I pre-ordered straight from RunOutGroove last year. I think it was around $32.00
Dick Hyman "From the Golden Age of Swing"  Reference Recordings/45rpm...interesting it sounds good at 33rpm as well.

Steve Young "Seven Bridges Road"
The Thorns "S/T"  ( I had forgotten about their cover The Jawhawks "Blue")

got these in yesterday...........

Joni Mitchell "Court & Spark" Nautilus
Stevie Nicks "Bella Donna" MFSL

all nice and minty
