Marcy Lutes – Debut (Decca 1957 mono)

These old recordings are almost lost gems. Perfect software for vintage gear. Blessed. It doesn't get much better.
Hawkwind – X In Search Of Space (United Artists [original with log book] 1971)
Pergolesi, Evelyn Lear, Christa Ludwig, Lorin Maazel – Stabat Mater (Philips 1966)

Ethereal.
@nicks25 I was thinking along those lines a few days ago wondering what happened to the OP, @slipknot1 .
PS well done, @sbank !

@sbank Love that album. I don't recall it ever been listed in this thread apart from me. I bought it when released and have a UK and US copy..

Fairground Attraction - The First of a Million Kisses

Geminiani - Anthony Pleeth, Richard Webb, Christopher Hogwood – Six Cello Sonatas, Op. 5 (L’Oiseau-Lyre – DSLO 1976 )

Not exactly party material but what a sweet lyrebird album. Cellos make a system sing.
Rusty Taylor's Jazz Makers – Give Me A Call (Stomp Off 1984)

Nicks25, nice system.
@sbank That's a wonderful and unexpected back story. Small world, even by minor association!

@puffball08 Curious why a Jupiter (wax?) cap would short out.

Too hot in there or too high a voltage?

Edit: maybe the Jupiter is the replacement...

Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht – Three Penny Opera, Original Cast Recording

(Columbia Masterworks 1976)

The Dixie Double-Cats – Is It True What They Say About Dixie? (20th Fox 1959)

Paul Barbarin & His Jazz Band / Punch Miller's Bunch & George Lewis – Jazz At Preservation Hall III (Atlantic 1963)

@puffball08 Sounds like you know what you are doing. I'm striking Jupiter's caps off my want lists! Consider posting your system to Virtual Systems. I'm intrigued.

Holly Golightly And The Brokeoffs – Nobody Will Be There (Damaged Goods 2011)

@j_husker Congrats on your Macintosh and getting to this point. We are fortunate in the scheme of things.

Gheorghe Zamfir ‎– A Theme From Picnic At Hanging Rock (Epic 1976)

Side 2

Portishead - S/T (Go! Beat London 2008 [1997])

Forgot how good this is. Perfect recording. On the second 401 with an AT VM750SH which I recommend a lot, and it is very very good tonight. Deep bass on the REL S3.

The Black Heart Procession ‎– Amore Del Tropico  (Touch and Go 2002)

David Bromberg – Demon In Disguise (Columbia 1972)

If Loudon Wainwright lll, Neil Young, and Robert Zimmerman had a child.

@dayglow Yes, the Bromberg is great music. For the longest time I found his recordings a bit bass heavy and even boomy. However adding springs under my turntable a year or so ago solved the issue and the albums sound fine.

Count Basie – Basie Jam #2 (Pablo 1977)

Basie & Zoot – Basie & Zoot (Pablo 1976)

Streaming on headphones based on yous guys’ selections:

Miles Davis In Person Friday & Saturday Night At The Black Hawk.

...

Explosions In The Sky - All of the sudden, I miss everyone.

I keep waiting for the lyrics and realize the music speaks for itself. Interesting.

The Dukes Of Dixieland – Up The Mississippi With The Dukes Of Dixieland Vol. 9 (Audio Fidelity 1959)

@slaw I like the now functional user @lookup but not a fan of the non-mobile responsive view at all. There's no text wrapping so the page view width is all over the place.

Various – Zydeco Festival (Maison De Soul – 1988)

Jean Ritchie – High Hills And Mountains (Greenhays 1988)

Saint-Saëns, Orchestre National De France, Jean Martinon – Symphony In A / Symphony In F Urbs Roma (Angel 1976)

Side 1

Ha! I wallpapered a room once. The pattern ended up upside-down on opposing walls. Herself was not impressed. At least it was bubble free. Thankfully, we only paint now.

Move out when wallpapering? We stayed when all the windows were contractor replaced, central air installed, and cedar siding replaced and painted all at the same time!

Iron Butterfly – Live (Atco 1970)

Man, that sounds of a time.

Pulp – Different Class (Music On Vinyl 2011 180g RP [1995])

The best pop album of all time.

@bkeske I bought an original to replace a missing record recently for the most I’ve ever spent on an album. $105. I hope it arrives safely from Europe.

Loudon Wainwright III – A Live One (Radar 1979)

One of my old favorites. Bought it when released.

Soap&Skin – Lovetune For Vacuum (PIAS 2009)

k.d. lang – Shadowland (Sire 1988)

Victoria Spivey And The Easy Riders Jazz Band - S/T (G.H.B. 1965)

@puffball08 I did the TV repair stint after college. Remember triplers and vertical deflection coils!

@slaw I understand Birthday greetings are in order! Many happy returns, Steve.
