The Triffids - In the pines
I bought this when it came out. Great 80s Oz pop. Recorded in a sheep outhouse or something.
On CDs tonight. However listening to this on vinyl after @mammothguy54 played it. Always preferred 'Aliens' but let's see...

Found a sealed promo copy of Thomas Dolby - Aliens Ate My Buick. I forget who recommended it, but thanks!
You're welcome. It's a gem!
I played a bunch last night but I couldn’t get past the SSL issue on the forum to post. Using incognito mode now.
Jim, easy on the roots there, man! I have an Ashanti Roy album somewhere that I must dig up.
@bkeske I remain skeptical that you need it now especially with vinyl. Try removing it.
Leonard Cohen "Live in London"

@slaw This is a phenomenal album. I also have it on DVD which is essential.

Very enjoyable musically. Decent recording for post 1960 but for a sealed album, the vinyl isn’t great. Must US clean it. I’ll test out the CD another day.
Matthew Barber & Jill Barber ‎– The Family Album (Outside Music ‎2016)

Really growing on me.
Jonah Tolchin ‎– Clover Lane (Yep Roc 2014)

Take 2 - after ultrasonic-cleaning. Lot better. There were 4 places where the groove stopped dead. No issues now.

Want some Debussy, so opening my Solti Edition volume 10 box…
I had a woman once who often wanted to stay in and write. When I'd suggest going out to eat, she'd reply, "I just want to stay in and listen to Debussy."
