My plan for the rest of the evening...

David Gilmore  "Rattle That Lock"
Graham Parker  "The Mona Lisa's Sister"
Bob Marley  "Exodus"  MFSL
@ reubent,

Ever heard Timbuk 3 "Eden Alley"? Nice!

I own the HN lp as well.

Magnolia Electric Co. "Fading Trails"

Robert Finley  "Goin' Platinum"
Wow! The GP lp is sounding very, very good!

I know the BM lp will sound great from recent experience.

Happy Listening!
Just to report back on the differences I hear... the SC remaster has better defined more delineated sonics. The soundstage may be slightly narrower. It may be just a matter of taste whether either version sounds better to you in your system. I would say that it’s not a remaster you should (run out and buy now), but it has it’s merits. For me. I prefer the SC remaster. I now have two very good sounding copies and with the 25% off the SC version, I’m not complaining.

Up next John Lennon "Imagine" MFSL/lp
I picked up a copy of Tommy Bolin's "Private Eyes" in the $2 bin at a record show a couple of years ago. After some TLC, I was impressed with the music and sonics. I sprung for the recent Speakers Corner Re-master and will put it on next.
Collective Soul  "Live".

I've always loved their sound...waited forever for some vinyl.

Sounding good so far.
Bob Dylan  "Love & Theft". First time hearing it. Sonics are very good. The music wasn't what I had expected. First time listening. Will revisit.

Up next,,,

Freshly cleaned Steve Winwood  "Nine Lives".

thanks to @ghosthouse for the reminder.
@bob540,

Regarding your warped lp.... I would not recommend an iron. I think the best path forward with the least expense would be to get two pieces of plate glass. After cleaning the lp, put it between the glass pieces and place in your oven on the (very) lowest setting for 40 minutes to start with. Don't preheat. When times is up, (let it cool off in the oven), then take it out and check. After checking it's progress, adjust for a 10 minute  longer time period. Repeat. If it hasn't become flatter, I'd increase the temp 10 degrees, then start over at 40 minutes. I think you can get the picture now. It's gonna be a trial and hopefully, no error process.Good luck!

I feel like one has more control over the process with the oven method.

Glad I don't have that issue to worry with now.
Van Halen "Fair Warning"

Son Volt  "Okemah and the Melody of Riot"  again.

@reubent,
I just got in Son Volt "Live at the Bottom Line" dbl lp/ RSD 2016/ QRP. (from the "Trace" era)
I did not know of it's existence until recently. I'm planning on listening this weekend.
James Gang "Thirds" original pressing
The War on Drugs "A Deeper Understanding"  Outstanding!

In a little while...

Son Volt  "Live at the Bottom Line"
Up soon...

Eels  "With Strings" //Manchester 2005

Mary Gauthier  "Live @ Blue Rock"
The Son Volt lp is sounding very, very good!

If you're a fan...highly recommended!
The Mary Gauthier lp...

I ordered it around 6months ago. It finally came in about 2 months ago.

Hell yeah!....... Well worth the wait!
Peter Gabriel  "US"  The original EU dbl/lp.

@boxer12,

Is Lambchops's lp really named FLOTUS, or is that a political maneuver?
@reubent ,

I meant remarking on our current listening experience.

If we're this far off in our understanding, well...…………..
Uber,

On my 4th week out of work and my application was (just) approved. Thankfully, it's retroactive.
For any Aoife O'Donovan fans...........she's live streaming the entire lp of "Nebraska" on Sunday. I assume if you've registered with YepRoc or her own site, you just click on the live stream tab in your email. Hope I don't forget!
..............................................................................
Sun Kil Moon "Twin Cities"
Uber,

If that’s close enough for a visit on you’re way back (if it’s near/on a weekend), you’re welcome to come by.

Oops! forgot about social distancing again. The invite is an open one.
It’s been a while since I listened to these two TT lps. I’ve worked my way through them now with a new US clean and a new steam on the Live lp.

Made a substantial difference, especially to the Live lp which previously had a constant mild surface noise. Now it's mostly gone.
"Who Shot John?" really is a breath of fresh air, IMO, for a good blues/rock record these days. SQ = EX!
@tomic601 ,

Don't know if it would be worth it to you.....I'll flatten/clean it if you pay shipping both ways?
......................................
@reubent ,

Starting to worry about you're culling priorities?
Finished listening to "Intriguer" after it’s first US clean. Noticeably better.

John Hiatt "Eclipse Sessions". Another of my lps that didn’t get a proper US clean. Will do later. Still sounds great!
