@boxer12 Streaming Black Dice. Not doing it for me! Moving on to Flooting Grooves.
@millercarbon
Is that the AP 45 version of Come To find?
Any good, or is it too smooth from the remastering?

The Incredible String Band – The 5000 Spirits Or The Layers Of The Onion (Elektra 1967)

First Aid Kit — Ruins (Columbia 2018)

Pearl Bailey – The One And Only Pearl Bailey Sings (Mercury 1957)

Born in Captivity – Roy Harper (Public 1983)

@spiritofradio @puffball08

I’ve 11 of their albums and a bunch of Robin Williamson too. Music varies from twee to existentially shattering. (I’m not into scientology!)

The Milk Carton Kids – Monterey (Anti- 2015)

Grows on you and then it's one of your favorites. Recommended.

Holly Golightly And The Brokeoffs – Nobody Will Be There (Damaged Goods 2011)

Need cheerin' ? Here you go.

+1 The Final Cut. One of the greatest records of all time

+1 Buffy Saint-Marie. Heard of her in the 80s when I bought a Donovan album.
The Incredible String Band ‎– The Hangman’s Beautiful Daughter (Elektra ‎1968)

I'd listen to this all day if I didn't have to pay taxes.
This is a gem too.

Eddie Cleanhead Vinson Featuring Larry Coryell ‎– You Can't Make Love Alone (Philips 1971)
Lowell Fulson – Swing Time In The Big Town: Rare And Unreleased Recordings 1946-1953 (B&E 1980)

I.D. Stamper - Red Wing (June Appal 1977)
Darlin' Corey - YouTube

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues (Sub Pop 2011)

Tom Paley & Peggy Seeger - S/T (Elektra 1965)
~ This is a folk gem.

Hawkwind ‎– Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music (Charisma 1976)
~ Love this album from the Calvert era. Turn it up.

Kenny Neal ‎– Devil Child (Alligator 1989)

Dark horse pick which is surprisingly good.
Matthew Barber & Jill Barber ‎– The Family Album (Outside Music 2016)

Recommended. (It's not a 60s Mercury but good music)
Little Willie Littlefield ‎– It’s Midnight "1949-57 recordings" (Route 66 ‎/ KIX-10 1979 mono) side 1
Elvis Costello And The Attractions – Blood & Chocolate (Imp 1986)

Bought this when it came out.
WPC ‎– Ogilala (BMG Martha's Music 2017)

William Patrick Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins. Solid.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions ‎– Almost Blue
(Columbia 1981)

What a great album. Fine SQ.
@reubent I've a love-hate vibe with Elvis. When he's noisy and new wave, it can be a bit dissonant. But when he is good (which is a lot), he's genius.
I have their (Gentle Giant) first album upstairs in the VG pile. The one with the Underwood painted cover.

Holly Golightly – Painted On (Sympathy For The Record Industry 1997)

Schampus All Stars – Hear Us Talking (Rillophon 1978)

Eric Bogle – Scraps Of Paper (Flying Fish 1980)

This album made me laugh and cry. Excellent.

@reubent Yes. I know the Indigo Girls. My better half is a big fan so they play in the car. My favorite song of theirs is Everything in its Own Time on Shaming of the Sun.
Marais And Miranda ‎– Sundown Songs (Decca 1957)

Quirky, yet satisfying.  Love it.
Just cleaned the above record on the US. Playing it again now.
Noise reduced from VG+ to mint.
Distortion I figured was groove damage - gone.
Improvement in color and saturation, but the biggest improvement is in the dimensionality. Substantial increase in 3D depth and layering. The voices have bloomed from being somewhat small and pinched into larger and fuller images.
I’m gobsmacked.
Jean Redpath With Abby Newton ‎– Lady Nairne (Philo 1986)

Beautiful vocal and cello. Too Celtic to displace Diana Krall at the shows.
@spiritofradio
I pride myself in biggest bang for the buck so it’s not a flash unit. I added a photo to my Virtual System page. Basically it’s a standard 6" 10liter tank with this spinner.

Duke Ellington ‎– Monologue (Columbia Special Products 1973 )

What a fun collection. 40/50s recordings but the music is sublime.
Robin Petrie & Danny Carnahan - Continental Drift (Flying Fish 1987)

3D dulcimer,  guitar and violin. The tube power supply mod to my phono amp is paying dividends.
@slaw I think so.

@reubent I know what you mean. The vibrato can be a bit present. I do like her angry voice though.

@tomic601 Very evocative vibe on the beachfront you got there!

I'm hanging on headphones listening to appropriate tunes while reading this. Great read.

Various – The Music Of David Lynch - Benefiting The David Lynch Foundation (Communion 2016) Sides A and D

David Bromberg – Wanted Dead Or Alive (Columbia 1974)

Buddy Weed – Piano Solos With Rhythm Accompaniment (Coral 1957 mono)

Awesome.
