Boston / Don’t Look Back
1978 CBS

Great record, pretty balanced vocals and instruments imo although I wouldn’t say the SQ is brag worthy. I don’t find it bright. Agree with @big_greg’s comments. Hard to keep the volume down on A Man I’ll Never Be.

@lastperfectdaymusic Bummer about the reissue, there shouldn’t be problems with off centers, warps or surface noise on those but we know it happens. Maybe too often? Good you can play it.

@dayglow I only have Come Away With Me on CD. I too am wary of some new vinyl’s recording chain. This one was likely converted from digital but it sounds very pleasant. It’s a little more ‘jazzed up’ and with more instrumentation than CAWM. I prefer it.

The Little Willies / For The Good Times
2012 Milking Bull
Norah Jones’ Country band. Jim Campilongo on guitar, fun record.

Norah Jones / Pick Me Up Off The Floor
2020 Blue Note
Outstanding record for content and sonics.

@bdp24 I enjoy your insight!
But I always thought Aerosmith’s version of Train was just a lead-in to their best cut: Seasons Of Wither. 😎

Ringo Starr / Ringo
1973 Apple

 So many guest stars and all 4 Beatles on this one.

@dayglow @spiritofradio

+++ Aerosmith- Get your Wings
Also a favorite album here, Seasons Of Wither I can (and do) play over and over. Killer.

Kurt Vile / (watch my moves)
2022 Verve

2nd listen, really liking his style here—mesmerizing, a little psychedelic maybe…good stuff. Double LP.

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers / Damn The Torpedoes
1979 Backstreet Records

@spiritofradio James, looks like you found a few. Sorry I was busy, sent a PM but I think you missed it.

Traffic / John Barleycorn Must Die
1970 United Artists

This album on a good headphone system is a real treat!

John Lennon / Walls And Bridges
1974 Apple
Nothing takes me back to 1974 like this record does. Still have the record, wore out the 8 track cassette. :-)

@boxer12 That Rilo is a great record!

The Association / Greatest Hits
1968 Warner Bros.

”Never My Love”, super dreamy 😎
@bdp24 if interested, this stereo record employs Haeco-CSG

The Clientele / Bonfires on the Heath
2009 Merge

Really into this one lately. Great SQ, quiet…dreamy…

Lemonheads / It’s a shame about Ray
2022 Fire RE, orig. 1992

@loomisjohnson Thanks for reminding me about this album!

Peter Frampton / Wind Of Change
1972 A&M

Frampton’s debut album after leaving Humble Pie in ‘71 has Ringo, Billy Preston and others contributing. Nice SQ.

Savoy Brown / Street Corner Talking
1971 Parrot

Drop the tonearm, close my eyes and I’m back standing 15’ from the stage at the Salem (Ore.) Armory. Too cool, great album!
