Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks "Last Train To Hicksville...and the Home of Happy Feet"

1973/MCA

^ Been over a decade since I listened to this. Has a cool 70’s throwback vibe. SQ isn’t best but music enjoyable 😄

The Teskey Brothers "The Winding Way"

2023/Ivy League - Decca - Glassnote

Steve Kilbey "Earthed"

1988/Ryko/ clear vinyl

an early purchase in my audiophile pressing collection

Steve is still a favorite

@mofimadness

Since I am very late to Joni, I committed myself to buying all Archive releases. I do have a DCC "Court and Spark" and a couple studio releases.

The Firm "Mean Business"

1986/Atlantic/RCA record club pressing

not a supergroup, but a super collaboration in the 80s

Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings "Give The People What They Want"

Daptone Recording Co.

The Beau Brummels "Bradley's Barn"

Warner Brothers - Seven Arts Records Inc.

Father John Misty "God's Favorite Customer"

2018/Sub Pop/test pressing

Fat Mattress "S/T"

1969/Atlantic

....not the best SQ but an interesting record from Noel Redding. Put it through two cleaning cycles on my buddy’s Degritter 2 yesterday.

"Into The Great Wide Open" from ^ box

also own the original EU pressing.

The Beatles "White Album"

UK/Blue Box/stereo

decided to compare side one of each

this is a problem because the song sequence isn’t the same

Can say "Back In The U.S.S.R." is like two completely different listening experiences. The stereo version is shouty, the mono is more controlled but lacking dynamics/air.

Can also say the rest of side one of the stereo UK sounds very good! I actually sold my original MFSL after I compared the two a while back.
