Re: Business as Usual,

A couple years ago I rediscovered this and was spinning it a couple times each weekend. SQ is excellent. By comparison, Cargo sounds muted and involving.

BTW, Plaid Room Records had the RSD Art Pepper mono lp in today. I snagged one.

Hey Greg,

I’ve owned several of their cds that always sounded great in my vehicle. I have high hopes for the vinyl!

If you're like me, even at my age, when the music hits me, I bolt straight up and play air guitar;

Sturgill Simpson "Dood & Juanita"

2021/Thirty Tigers

Highly recommended!!

ZZ Top "Deguello"

1979/Warner. Would be a helluva candidate for a 1Step.

RCA Club version.

Chrissie Hynde & The Valve Bone Woe Ensemble

2019/BMG

Sounding fantastic so far!

Hey Joel, I hooked them up up to the 4 ohm tap last weekend and while the midrange was outstanding as was the sense of space, but the bass wasn’t up to par I tried the 8 ohm tap today and that did the trick!!

My speakers say 4 ohms.

@dayglow

I have "Diamond Girl". One of the albums I've owned the longest. Enjoy it now and then. Brings me back to a certain time with good memories.

Joel,

Uncle Kevin drilled it into us about trying every tap to hear what sounds better.

There's a pic on my system page.

Pink Floyd "Obscured By Clouds"

2016/ Sony

Never enjoyed this album more

Neil Young "Harvest Moon"

2017/dbl lp pressing .

Superior to the earlier single lp EU version, which I own

Lou Reed & Kris Kristofferson "The Bottom Line"

2021/Bottom Line Archive

This is my first RSD title. I thought it was too cool to pass up.

,.....seems to be a solidity to the imaging with monos that is noticeable

+2 Camel

I’m late to understanding them and enjoying. I have acquired a few recently.

I was referring to mono amps but I do agree with you on mono recordings James.

The Carol King 1step, blows away any other copy I’ve heard. Although, why didn’t it sound this good in its beginning?

Sarah Shook & The Disarmers "Years"

2018/Bloodshot

I love her music! Turns out, my local music friend has a friend who knows her. So close........ .

+3 @campaigner8

I've just played Idiot Prayer once and thought it is an important album.

The Art Pepper album is the one RSD title I let get away from me. I didn’t want to pay the in- groove’s high shipping.

I’ve got two sets of Nobsound aluminium springs in now.. Gonna try them between the mono amps and their Symposium platforms next weekend.

....and the beat goes on....

It’s amazing how well recorded most of Jason’s albums are Tim. Of course you get the warts and all. I always hear a ceiling fan in at least one record.

Feel the same for Smog lps.
