@slaw + 1 on Joan Shelley.  You introduced me to her music and I’ll be forever grateful.
@tomic601 say hey. Did you see/hear Warren Haynes on the latest Blackberry Smoke album?   I think it’s call you hear Georgia.   I’ve played it a couple three times and can recommend it.

@j_husker, lucky find! Nice.  Miles Ahead is my favorite MD record.  I have a nice Sailboat Cover mono copy and it sounds terrific.   I’m interested in hearing that 1987 Redux.  Is it stereofied?  Will be on the lookout for one.

What is FFSS full frequency stereophonic sound?

FFSS is the result of an entirely new and exclusive technique which offers the highest definition of sound ever achieved in recording.  In addition to reproducing the sound of each musical instrument in its Full Frequency Range, FFSS also recreates these sounds in your room so that the sound of each instrument reaches your ears from the same direction as it would from its position in the concert hall.

Generic gatefold sleeve with stitched edges. Sound is magical. Even without a mono cart and with the air conditioning situation.

@j_husker, I’ve got Kai and JJ in the on deck circle for later. For now around here it’s the sweetness of:

I love this band.

@middlemass When seeking out the Wilson remix of Aqualung be absolutely certain to get the one that is a very thick Gatefold and has 25 pages of incredible information and pictures inside, bound as part of the package.

Yep
Joel,

I am so glad that it worked out well for you. The Wilson remixes are really quite good. Example; my 70s U.S. pressing of Aqualung also sounds like a 1960 transistor radio and the Wilson remix is a true high fidelity record. The same is true for Stand Up and This Was. My original copy of Passion Play sounds very good, though. I am waiting for Thick As A Brick to come off of backorder, I need that to complete my Tull collection

As we have discussed, the Steven Wilson  remixes of these records are really fun. Don’t bother with the TAAB reissue though. The original is better (if you already have it).

Brian, this is a partially digital production but even so sounds really good.   Only the one track by RVW.  It’s easy listening.  Really easy.

Better get this one @bkeske, @laviathon
I think we’re (guys of a certain age) going to enjoy this Jackson Browne record.  He still knows how to craft a song around a social or political issue and make it, well, part of your life.  Like “Everyman “ or “Four Way Street”.  Know what I mean?
