The Welch/Rawlings on now.......

These lps are all analog from beginning to end. From recording to tape then lacquers cut all analog as well. Highly Recommended!!!
If any of you aren’t buying these Acony releases on vinyl, I implore you to get them while you can.

Gillian Welch * David Rawlings " The Lost Songs"

Boots No.2

2020/Acony Records

Hey Chris. Just got "Fight Songs" in. After about 8 months on pre-order. Worth the wait!
@bkeske,

Hey Brian, I'm soaking it all in for my possible foray into streaming. My music friend has a little Shiit tube DAC and really great sounding Audio Engine speakers at his computer desk.
Martha Scanlan "The River and the Light"

Much better on second listen!!
Thanks Joel.

I'll most likely order it today.

Now, are you sure you need to upgrade the tt set-up?
My only reason to stream, would be for finding music, and find it with increased SQ, while at the computer.
@boxer12,

I got in Ada Lea "What We Say in Private" a few weeks ago Tim. Really like it!

2018/ANTI

Bruce Springsteen "Letter to You"

Wondering Joel, if the Iron Butterfly is worth it in your opinion if one has a clean pp?

Recent arrivals,

Courtney Barnett "Things Take Time, Take Time"

Chrissie Hynde "Standing in the Doorway": Sings Bob Dylan

Lucinda Williams " Funny How Time Slips Away"

Lucinda Williams "Bob’s Back Pages: A Night of Bob Dylan Songs"

Nikki Sudden & The Jacobites "Texas"

I discovered Nikki just a few years ago

and bought a few lps. Always enjoyed each one.

He died too young and was really ahead of his time.

So far, Letter To You sounds very powerful, well written and constructed set of songs! Nice SQ!

+1 Tim.

That’s the first JL album I bought. Think it’s still

my favorite....take that back.....Under the Blacklight

is very strong.

Yeah.... RFC is great, I guess I was referring to her solo stuff. There is a purity in her voice, reminds me of

Neko Case

@ boxer12 @ sbank

My Watson Twins lp is "Talking to You, Talking to Me"

I believe it was mastered by Stan Ricker

Milk Carton Kids "All the Things I Did,

All the Things I Didn’t Do"

....reminding me of a more modern S&G album, great

harmonies and SQ.

Kathleen Edwards "Failer"

Her debut on vinyl 1st time!

......"no one likes a girl who

won't sober up"......

Iron Butterfly "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"

my clean period repress which is too

Up front/aggressive for my tastes.

Hope the MFSL is great! Can’t say I’ve been convinced to order it yet.

For you Eva Cassidy fans,. Live @ Blues Alley

is being released on vinyl for 1st time at 45rpm.

Should be special. Pre-order mine today.

This will probably be an investment lp in

the future?
