Trigger Hippy "Full Circle & Then Some"

"Born to be Blue" is a heck of a song!
@boxer12,

This was my first time. The music was great and really had no idea how personal his lyrics were. Didn't realize the two female band members wrote some of the songs. Band was tight!

Hey @nicks25,

Got it off Amazon. They have such a great return policy, I don't worry about that. So far, it sounds great!
Hey @orvisk, and welcome!

Let us know your impressions on that Chrissie Hynde set.
@tgilb

Love it!! Think of a slice of all famous bands Steve has been in. Then try to hear, those select cuts reammagined live, in a totally new funky/soulful attitude. Even with his radio friendly late eighties stuff. Never hear that anywhere else.

All from Saddle Creek

Yeah Greg, their debut still stands as their best, IMO.

All comes down to what level of a fan one is? I agree with you. Played my copy last week....sounds great,!
John Prine "Fair & Square"

Lp 1 is pretty warped, so I’ll reserve an opinion on SQ later.....

No I want, ....I think John’s voice is muffled on the first song. Maybe a result of the type of cancer he had.

" some humans ain’t human
some people ain’t kind
you open up your heart
only to find....
they got their head, up their behind"
Brian Ferry "Boys & Girls"
1985 LG Records/Warner Brothers

Sounds great! Always loved this album....very dynamic.
Come On Up to the House/Women Sing Waits
2019/Dualtone

Heard good things about it.........
Anyone streamed the cut off of the Sussana Hoffs/Aimee Mann record?

I liked it
Tarantula? I was listening to a song on local college station earlier. They played a cut by Tortoise. Sounded similar to Yes.

No kidding.
