Andrew Bird "Weather Systems"
Fruit Bats "The Pet Parade"

It's one of my original thoughts as to my current decoupling system Brian

Up now Nitty Gritty Dirt Band mentioned previously. On Liberty, no reason to doubt it's a pp.
Was putting on my brand new Lucinda Williams tribute to Tom Petty, "Runnin’ Down a Dream" and lp 1 was severely warped. I believe the ORB can bring it back from the dead. Puttin’ on lp 2 which is surprisingly flat by comparison.
@noromance ,

Does that HH record play the same in every one of your systems?
Based on your preference of smooth side up, makes me think my initial thought was right. A cart/arm mismatch.
Brian,

I was fortunate enough to pick up an unplayed UK Blue Box a while back.
It will raise up intermittently here when the feeling is felt.

It's special.
@noromance

" Metal platter sounds so good"

This is THE problem  listener bias and sometimes their refusal to accept another point of view.
@noromance ,

"Not too concerned"

Frankly you should be. You just experienced a fault that was so egregious, you reached out.

So it just shows up on one record, it's still there.
@noromance ,

I'm very passionate. I understand your view. All I can say is  I listend to the MyMat in my system for 3 years, on two different tt's, with similar/great results.
What I've discovered is, (listener bias) is the hardest mountain to climb in trying to sell a product such as a TT mat.
( so if one difficult song tracks perfectly, are you saying this removed your previous concern and that concern is ño longer valid?)
My gifted copy of Deep Purple "Made In Japan" after a DEEP clean is up next,
@big_greg,

Courtney would not be the girl I'd bring home to meet the parents but I think she's very talented. Enjoying listening to her music today.
