Peter Gabriel ‎– S/T (Charisma ‎1980)

Bought it back in the 80s. A little noisier than I’d like from a lot of play. Sounds better than ever since the springs coup.
Zoot Sims - Soprano Sax (Pablo 1976)

#1 from the care pack. Tomic601 knows me too well. Laid back jazz and fine example of how close a soprano sax comes to a clarinet.  Enjoyable spin; all that was missing was a 44 year old dame smoking a tipped cigar. Didn't clean it. VG++ out of the box. Thanks.

Matty Matlock And The Paducah Patrol – Four-Button Dixie (Warner Bros. 1959)

Lou Reed – Berlin (RCA 1973)

Legend has it that Bob Ezrin told his kids their mom died and recorded their grief for the song The Kids. Not cool.

Mozart, Violin Concertos K.216 in G Major / K.218 in D Major, Iona Brown, Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields (Argo 1980)

Been playing this a few times recently. It's perfect.

@boxer12  +1 Goat. I bought it back then cos they were playing it in the LRS.

From earlier..

Simon & Garfunkel – Simon And Garfunkel's Greatest Hits (CBS 1972)

- Junker from the back. Except it sounds great. Nice.

Gisela May – Brecht / Weill (Philips 1966)

- I'm a fan of this pair. Sounds best in German.

Maddy Prior & June Tabor – Silly Sisters (Chrysalis 1976)

- Surprisingly awesome and great recording.

Obernkirchen Children’s Choir – Folk Songs And Fairy Tale (Angel 1957)

- For the season that's in it. Lovely.

@sourpuss123 You are in for a treat. I bought it when it was released!

Jennifer Warnes / Famous Blue Raincoat

@boxer12 So I looked the Ezrin thing up and found this. Hopefully his version is the truth. Smoke, fire, and all that.

Various ‎– Fast Folk Musical Magazine An Evening In Greenwich Village (Fast Folk Musical 1988)

Wonderful collection of lesser-known artists. Sounds great.
@mammoth
+1  Alice Cooper  'Welcome To My Nightmare'
I have the original. What a cracking sleeper album.

From earlier:

The Montfort Singers – There'll Come A Day (Glasgow 1966)

...

Julie Andrews – The Lass With The Delicate Air (RCA 1957)

...

Melanie – Madrugada (Neighborhood 1974)

...

Shirley Collins, Davy Graham – Folk Roots, New Routes (4 Men With Beards 2010 RP 1964)

@dayglow I only really post albums here that I haven't played in a while. It would look odd if the same albums appeared all the time. By the same token, I find posting here forces me to play other stuff in the collection - often with some nice surprises.

Joseph Haydn / Michael Haydn / Richter / Molter ‎– Trompetenkonzerte 1966 / Klarinettenkonzert 1959 (Archiv)

CocoRosie – Grey Oceans (Sub Pop 2010)

Amazing work. Weird and compelling.

David Bromberg – David Bromberg (Columbia 1971)

David Bromberg – Demon In Disguise (Columbia 1972)

Various ‎- The Swing Era Into The 50's: How Sex Was Invented (Time Life Records ‎1981)

In My Tribe. Interesting.  I bought it when it was released. I haven't played it in 20 years. I recall it being thin and digital. And not the good kind.
Loudon Wainwright III ‎- A Live One (Radarscope 1979)

Everyone should have this record. Good live feel. One of my all-time favorites.
Louis Armstrong ‎- Big Bands: Louis Armstrong (Time Life Music 1985 mono)

Sweet collection of 30s-40s Decca recordings. Smokey speakeasy vibe. Sparse instrument accompaniment to Sachmo's vocals.

@bkeske I hear you. I have 2 pressings of the Fairground Attraction album. I pulled one and when I went to put it back, I’d neglected to leave a telltale (usually pull up its neighbor) so I knew where it went. I ended up flipping through hundreds of albums and still can’t find its twin. Dang memory !

Jackie DeShannon – New Image (Imperial 1967)

Sounds so good. 50+ years later and new stuff can’t come close.

Thomas Dolby ‎– Aliens Ate My Buick (EMI-Manhattan 1988)

Awesome album. Bought it when it came out. Recommended.
Leonard Cohen ‎– Ten New Songs
(Columbia RE 2018)

Played this again on the other rig. Nice.
Buffy Sainte-Marie ‎– The Best Of Buffy Sainte-Marie Volume 2 (Vanguard 1971)

This is awesome. Most songs are killer.

Fairground Attraction – The First Of A Million Kisses (RCA 1988)

Long time favorite. Bought when released. Eddie Reader ❣️

Almost recommended except recording is a little veiled. But the songs are wonderful.

Loudon Wainwright III ‎- More Love Songs (Demon 1986)

Great record. Great recording.
