Oh, some really good stuff spinning tonight in the group!

For me it’s The Tubes: Outside Inside
Kind of on a spending spree! Up tonight-

Just excellent...

Smashing Pumpkins: Gish
Another great one!
Tonight’s selections...

Supertramp: Breakfast in America MOFI

Steely Dan: Aja first press
New to me MoFi original master recording Pink Floyd DSOM... Japanese pressing. Wow... blows the newer remaster away!
@noromance comedy LPs! Awesome. I remember my dad had Steve Martin (is it ok to yell movie in a crowded fire house?) played that to death! Cheech and Chong, Richard Pryor, Python! Dang, I’m going to have to expand my record collection. Kind of forgot about those!
@reubent   sweet! Great album! Don’t have it on vinyl, but hit it streaming the other night!

Tonight is a box of chocolates, my wife is getting into this vinyl thing so I hit Discogs for these, in no particular order...

Billy Joel- 52nd Street
Eagles- Greatest Hits
GoGo’s- Vacation
Abba- Greatest Hits
Foreigner- Double Vision

The one that started it all...

Zeppelin 1

First pressing, garage sale find. Not in perfect shape (G) but overall just fine for its age!
@big_greg excellent choice!

Streaming tonight... blasphemy.

Funky Jazz Party- look it up, awesome.
Norah Jones tonight

Earlier:
Beastie Boys
Led Zeppelin
B-52’s
Talking Heads

Good times!
@spiritofradio yes, and for a live album the mix and pressing are stellar.
@noromance Sheik Yerbouti! Just a freakin’ awesome album! I’m a Dancin’ fool!

@spiritofradio- regarding Rolling Stone, I’m 100% with you. Never read it any more. But the NP story was excellent. Worth the read for sure.
@spiritofradio... did you see the article on Neil Peart in Rolling Stone? Excellent, sad, enlightening. Being a drummer Neil/Rush has been a major part of my life since I was a teenager...
Crazy mix tonight...

Radiohead: In Rainbows
Sting: Ten Summoners Tails
Pink Floyd: Animals
@spiritofradio... A Farewell to Kings nice! Don’t have that 40th yet

Spinning Hold Your Fire currently.
@spiritofradio... it’s great! Mine is the 2015 press. Not sure if it is remastered though. Doesn’t seem to be. Interesting hearing all of this on vinyl again after years of CD’s. Me likey!
Sir Elton: Diamonds

Great song selection, so-so overall quality. Listenable, but not amazing. Nice wine and chill record.
@spiritofradio ditto on the Moving Pictures package. Should be soon hopefully.

Tonights selections are Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry

Avalon
Bête Noir
Boys and Girls

All first presses. Wow, these albums are mastered so well. Just fantastic.
Tonearm finally back from the spa! Lots of spinning...

Vince Guaraldi- Peanuts Christmas
Pink Floyd- Delicate Sound of Thunder reissue (very nice btw)
The Police- Ghost in the Machine
Pat Methany- Bright Size Life
Robert Plant- Principal of Moments
Talking Heads- Speaking in Tongues

@tomic601... no doubt. That album very much captured that era. Interestingly a one off that has stood the test of time.
@spiritofradio... I really need to get Hold Your Fire on vinyl. Not sure what I haven’t... time to go shopping. I also want to add Robert Plant first two albums...
@dayglow... oh D&D Boomtown! One of my favorite, all time, no one has ever heard of, albums! Great stuff!
