That was an interesting line-up Greg ,................................
Dr. Byrd’s and Mr. Hyde Sundazed |
Ray Charles "Genius + Soul =Jazz" Acoustic Sounds |
The Flaming Lips "American Head".
Recommended!! |
K.D. has one of the best voices going!!!! |
|
The Kinks "One For the Road" Sounding great so far! |
I read that earlier James. Our mutual friend here, @bdp24 , chimed in on the subject thread. Check it out... |
Jim,
My Classic Records version of "Rough Mix" doesn’t hold a candle to my American pressing. I’ve sold a couple Classic Records, rock lps because of SQ and noisy pressing issues.
From memory, I've sold these....
"Who's Next" "Supernatural"
|
I tell you guys, this Kinks,"Live" lp is killer!. Maybe not the last word in terms of SQ, but the music and the performance, really makes up for that. |
Rex Brown "Smoke On This" |
Tried it Jim. The results were negligible, in terms of integrating it into my tried n true cleaning regime |
|
Toad The Wet Sprocket "Dulcinea" EU |
You give me too much credit, bro. It happens to be an issue in lp playback that I know can make a difference with knowledge and experience. |
Joel,
No toke before Disney |
Glad you had a safe trip @boxer12. Which bike did you take? |
10cc "The Original Soundtrack" pp |
@j_husker,
There's always a bright side..... wish you complete healing. |
Yeah, I think that when I listened to a couple newer songs, they didn't grab me.
|
|
"Georgia Blue" is incredible, musically! Some of their interpretation were surprising...surprisingly good! I think that sonically not their best but the high quality songs/performances are superb.
|
New arrival,
Martha Scanlan "The River & the Light" |
Haven't heard from @6t5_gto either. |
Toad the Wet Sprocket "Dulcinea" 1994/Columbia/EU |
I assumed that you would respond to the Saddle Creek post Tim. I talked with a guy today that says, he knows you.....
Probably meant he's met you.... |
This Hand Habits lp is very enjoyable! |
Martha Scanlan "The River and the Light" |
Timbuk 3 "Eden Alley’
noticeably digital recording, still very enjoyable |
More power to ya Chris! I'm just not going to spend that kind of money on concert tickets. They call me Debbie Downer. |
@noromance ,
Noticed you feature many lps on Audiophile. Is that the label name? |
The Tony Joe lp is somewhat a disappointment in that the vinyl arrived severely warped and noisy.
But that 10 minute version of Polk Salad Annie....hell yeah! |
Land of Talk "Life After Youth" |
Tony Joe White "That On The Road Look, "Live" Real Gone Music
My music friend let me have first listen since I flattened it for him |
I have been somewhat intrigued by them. |
Thanks for the suggestion Brian! |
Rex Brown "Smoke on This....."
After a deep clean...
Really good record! Especially if you turn up. |
Kathleen Edwards "Total Freedom"
Always loved her. Will buy any future lp without hesitation. |
|
Had a hankerin’ to play some Black Sabbath.
For some reason, I bought the "Vol IV" box set, out of all the rest. I guess I felt this album was in need of more meaning, in a superior. SQ. way.
On first listen, last year, I wasn’t blown away.....let’s see.....
,...........
Where’s the bass man?
Can't stand it anymore. Something else please. |
Are you two Brian's funning me?? |
