Joel,

My ,"Dream Boat Annie" lps are from different periods in my life. My favorite really is from my High school years. It has surprisingly "lived to tell another day" in especially good fashion. Heart wanted to be the female Led Zeppelin and they showed it on "DBA" . It ready has that PRAT.

This  may have been a first or one of the first "concept albums" of the 70’s
Took coupla tokes.....think I’m making good choices that have a noticeable musical progression.
Meant to say a concept album that really wasn't thought of in that way. Now "Leftoverture," that's a real concept  album!
A recent addition,

Bee Gees "1st"
Atco/1967/pp/mono

Watched a YouTube video about this album this week. It was described as early Psych and Beatle esq. An accurate description.
Marty Stuart is back in play....

Not a perfectly quiet pressing, considering the deal I got, I'll live with it.
On "The Pilgrim", from the MS lp, Marty's mandolin playing, is spectacular!!!
There seems to be an underlying, common denominator, so to speak, in Jose’s music.T

Recommended!!!
Common;' Yous Guys,

The Mountain Goats "Dark In Here"

one of the best of 2021
Thanks @nicks25,

Porcupine Tree "Fear of a Blank Planet"
That was an interesting line-up Greg

Dr. Byrd’s and Mr. Hyde
Sundazed
I read that earlier James. Our mutual friend here, @bdp24 , chimed in on the subject thread. Check it out...
Jim,

My Classic Records version of "Rough Mix" doesn’t hold a candle to my American pressing. I’ve sold a couple  Classic Records, rock lps because of SQ and noisy pressing issues.

From memory, I've sold these....

"Who's Next"
"Supernatural"

I tell you guys, this Kinks,"Live" lp is killer!.
Maybe not the last word in terms of SQ, but the music and the performance, really makes up for that.
Tried it Jim. The results were negligible, in terms of integrating it into my tried n true cleaning regime
You give me too much credit, bro. It happens to be an issue in lp playback that I know can make a difference with knowledge and experience.

Yeah, I think that when I listened to a couple newer songs, they didn't grab me.
