Shannon & The Clams "Year of the Spider"
Produced by Dan Auerbach/recorded at Easy Eye Sound/Nashville, where Dan records his lps.

Been wanting to try one of Shannon’s lps for years ever since I heard her cover "White Rabbit"
Drive-by Truckers "Plan 9"
Lp 3

..."I got 350 heads
on a 305 engine
I get 10 miles a gallon
ain’t got no good intention"...
Joanne Shaw Taylor "Wild"

I've been a huge fan of hers for years, only problem in the past there's been no vinyl. I'd check now and again and finally gave up. That is, until this past week, I saw her new (lp) coming out, produced by Joe Bonamassa. I did a quick search and found 3/4 of her albums available on vinyl.

Got this one in this week from overseas.
Starflyer 59 "Young in my Head"

Noticed they have a new album coming out but sadly not on vinyl....
That’s actually a good price Jim, considering dual shipping. Not like having your own machine but it’s a start. Now....the ORB is floating around in your thoughts?

As I keep reminding you...first world advantages.

I should try to sell you something before you get back on your feet. Ha ha.
You can’t just hit us up with that Tom, out of nowhere.
We thought you were out on a 25 km bike ride or something?
Kris Kristofferson "The Austin Sessions"
..."and the beer I had for breakfast
wasn't badso I had one more for dessert"...
That makes perfect sense brother... the new Belles and all. Wishing the best and please keep us posted.
Joel,

We have at least two things in common, the love of music and white hair
So Brian,

Seems you're not very happy with "ATMP", just wondering why it seems little interest in possibly improving your music library with such an iconic album' remaster?
The Kristofferson lp is highly recommended!

I'd love it if he'd fly his helicopter here and listen a while.....
My music friend just left after 6 hours listening. The last song played was "Summertime" by Joanne Shaw Taylor. Gonna play it again. You should check it out!

Snacks of salmon, sardines, chicken salad, pimento cheese.
Brandi Carlisle "A Rooster Says"
RSD 2020
Two song/one sided/12"/EP/45rpm
I saw the greatness in her early on. I think I own all on vinyl?
BTW, Brian...
The Telefunken smoothe plates were a favorite of mine in my former EAR 834 phono stage..

I had moved on from those tubes to others in my EAR life
I chose not to respond to your search for guidance in your particular phono stage, simply because I had no experience with your Trumpet.

My feeling is, certain tubes work better, and/or are designed to work best in the original designer's design.

So, how could I recommend a tube for the Trumpet by my experience in a different design?
Brian,

Kevin Carter, the designer)builder of my Trio, built it around the 6922 Reflector tubes. He's an engineer. He voices his designs based on personal experience. While I've contplatded using others..... Why?!
I guess since I know him personally and have listened with him, probably makes a big difference.

My system, at this hour, is sounding better than ever!!!!

The center stage is perfect, the speakers have disappeared, the balance is perfect!!!!
