@tomic601 Gave the Ray Brown a listen on digital. Man, that's some raspy  bowing. The vinyl seems to be difficult to get.
Bix Beiderbecke ‎- The Bix Beiderbecke Story/Vol 2  Bix And Tram (Columbia 1955 Mono)

Reissue of 1927 recordings. All I need are some Mary Pickford lookalikes dancing around the pool table and a cigarette.
I haven't played a record through headphones in decades. Last time was 'Janis Ian - Stars' on a Technics. It wasn't exactly mint and the background noise was holophonic. Very irritating.
Erroll Garner ‎- Solitaire (Mercury 1955 Mono)
Guy learned pianoforte when he was 3. Never read or wrote music yet was a prolific composer by ear. I wish you could hear how much like a real piano this recording sounds.
Ed McCurdy - Treasure Chest of American Folk Song (Elektra 1961)

Buy this. Historic record of great folk songs.
The Benny Goodman Quartet‎ - Together Again! (RCA Victor 1963)
Sparkling recording.
Erroll Garner ‎- Gems (Columbia 1955)

Notes on the back cover about different "needles." Osmium, sapphire and diamond. And dire warnings of permanent damage if not replaced. Apparently the guy who owned this before me didn’t heed the notes. But he didn't play one side at all as it’s perfect. The other side...not so much. (Near Mint/Good)
Patti Page ‎– Indiscretion (Mercury 1959)

Replaying this NM/NM on my Decca SuperGold after playing it a few days ago on the Garrott Gold. The SG needed a loupe to check a very dirty stylus. I just cleaned it until the diamond gleamed. Holy Ship! What an improvement over the Gold and over the pre-cleaned SG.

Anyway, another super record from the late 50s proving that we have destroyed the recording process. Vivid, warm, and right. Recommended.
Eagles ‎- Hotel California (Asylum 1976)

Not really a fan of the Eagles. However I pulled this almost mint copy from the stack. It's a very US 70s mix - boom/tizz.

Roy Harper ‎- Loony On The Bus (Awareness 1988)

Crisp, clean, tight recording. Awesome.

Marlene Dietrich - The Legendary,  Lovely  Marlene (MCA 1982)

Dirty, veiled, warm, great.

Sandii & The Sunsetz ‎- Immigrants (Yen 1982)

80s New Romantics meet Japanese synth pop, hot girl, guest David Sylvian. Sounds great but WTF is this?
Mathilde Santing ‎- Water Under The Bridge (WEA 1985)

The faster tunes are a little meh. But the thoughtful, slower compositions, which make up the majority of the effort, are excellent.  Worth seeking out.
Massenet - Thaïs "Meditation" Lionel Gali (Ace Of Diamonds 1965)‎

Saw this performed live. Didn't even know I had this. Sublime.

Albinoni, Corrette, Handel, Mozart ‎– Adagio For Organ And Strings / Concerto For Organ, Flute And Strings / Organ Concerto No. 13 In F / Organ Sonata No. 4 In D (Turnabout 1967)
Patrick Sky - Reality Is Bad Enough (Verve Forecast 1968)

An American Donovan type of rebellious, psychedelic singer who is now a world-renowned builder of uilleann pipes. Interesting.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band ‎- Will The Circle Be Unbroken (UA 1972)

Shame it's worn. I gotta see if I can get a better copy.
Itzhak Perlman (With Bruno Canino) ‎- Stravinsky Divertimento and Suite Italienne (Angel 1976)
@tomic601 Years ago, I was humming a phrase from O Superman and came up from Penn Station in NYC in front of the Post Office. I had no idea at the time that the "neither snow nor rain..." was anything other than her lyric. Blew my mind.
@tomic601 Look up Le Cid by Jules Massenet. "O Sovereign, O Judge, O Father."
Grofé, Eugene Ormandy / The Philadelphia Orchestra ‎- Grand Canyon Suite (Columbia Masterworks 1958)

This is an amazing piece. Somewhat strident recording but the dynamics.. leap out of the seat material!

Maurice Ravel/L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande - Symphonie Espagnole/ Tzigane (Decca 1960)

The Hollywood Sound Stage Orchestra - My Fair Lady (Kent 1959 mono)

Unbelievable recording. 60 years old and Billie Eilish is singing into a pillow by comparison. Near mint.
@tomic601
All this fuss about what year... in my posts IF I mention the year it’s the vintage of the wine....
It's important to me. It's all I got!

Patti Page - Indiscretion- Stereo on the way, $< 10 so it ranks as a cheap date @nor
Hope she works out for you.
@tomic601 Happy to hear you liked Patti.

@uberwaltz,  Seems Traffic released different cuts of their first album in mono and stereo under different names. The Wikipedia article is worth a read.
Gato Barbieri - Caliente! (A&M 1976)

What happens when a guy who plays sax likes Santana and Marvin Gaye.

Jerome Sabbagh, Greg Toohey - No Filter (Sunnyside 2018)

This is growing on me despite the somewhat dull sounding mix. Come on! Drums on one speaker and guitar on the other.
Sam Butera and the Witnesses - The Big Horn (Capital 1958)

If they could leave the digits at home and record the way they used to, we'd have actual High Fidelity. In the freakin room.
William Ackerman - Passage (Windham Hill 1981)

Remember New Age? "a digital recording" subtitled on the cover. I bought this when it came out. Guitar and atmospheric cello and piano. I shall go and look into the misty woods and return presently.
Renaissance - Prologue (Sovereign 1972)

Religious hippies with a great piano and female vocals. Interesting.
Black Heart Procession - Three (Touch & Go 2000)

Alone in the basement. Saw them live.
Talk Talk - The Color of Spring

Talk Talk ‎– Life's What You Make It (12" Extended Version) (EMI 1984)

Peter Green - The End Of The Game (Reprise 1970)

Haven't played this in 30 years as I was put off by the space font. It's pretty spacey and experimental. Reminiscent of Hendrix.
Smiley Lewis ‎- Hook Line And Sinker (KC 1981)
80s collection of 50s recordings. Great songs. Recording is oddly compressed.

Roosevelt Sykes - Blue and Ribald, A Dirty Mother for you. (Southland 1972)

Wonderful songs with spoken word intros.
