Sounds great!
I've been blessed...

In my time as an audiophile, I've had opportunities to listen to various components. In this day and age, components equal power cords and interconnects..

I've had my share of all. In addition to these, I've listened to many power conditioners. Also, many other power add ons.

I currently replaced my long held Shunyata with the Puritan Audio PSM 156. WOW!!

A game changer for sure.

So, what I wanted to share is the best way to move forward with power cords and or conditioners.

Replacing power cords without the benefit of clean power is a fool's errand.

I recently realized this with the introduction of the Puritan PSM 156 into my front end components.

more to come......

@mammothguy54,

Joel, I wrote on the previous page about the units I have and what the Puritan replaced.
The increase in clarity as a result of a lower noise floor is amazing. I measured it with my Alpha Labs meter.

Regarding "Servant of Love".... listening makes me wonder how much if any influence, her relationship with Robert Plant had on this record?
Ryan Adams "Wednesdays"

Very introspective......wondering if he's wanting Mandy back?
Just an update.....

Our mutual friend Tim, @boxer12, asked me to help him out with a dedicated phono cable. Noteworthy Audio. That was several months ago and I’ve since decided to have my VPI arm wired for a direct connection from cart to phono stage. So, I won’t be reviewing that cable. However, I’ve in house, his other interconnects. One is a 12’ from phono to sub, the other is a 1M from sub to amp. The 12’ was just installed last week and Tim says at least 100 hours before serious listening. ( I’ve tried speaker level connections in the past and in my system, that didn’t work out.)

I can say even after 30 hours, these cables are drawing me into the music like never before.

FWIW, I'm running the high pass filter out as none.I think this makes a big difference
James,

I'm not a tech person, just a hands on guy
I sure understand your concern as I had it as well. It sounds much better this way.

I encourage others to experiment.
My subs allow for all the connectivity that are if concern

The REL subs are renowned for their speaker level connectivity. They even have upgrade cables just for this application.
Joel,

My K&K Audio Trio has a volume control..... eliminating the need for a line stage.
