Jim,
I'm glad you're at a place where you feel it's worthwhile to investigate cleaning methods. |

Jim,
It's great you're up at this hour. |
Terry Reid "Move Over for Terry Reid" pp/Epic (even though there’s no title" Really good record! |
I've been investigating AP 45 rpm lps lately. While I own Shelby Lynn, when Chad opened the gatefold of "Just a Little Lovin'", Wow!!
I will order it! |
Joel,
I'm always recommending expensive box sets....Traffic Studio box is awesome. Of course they are now available individually. |
Good luck with the new tubes Brian. ............ Terry Reid "River" 4 Men With Beards
Another really good lp. I believe this was Terry's answer to "If I Could Only Remember My Name". |
Brian,
I pre-ordered Joni’s latest 4 lp box from her archives. ( first four studio lps) If you’re interested, www.popmarket.com has it shipped for $100.00 |
Brian, I have a M re-master of Blue that sounds great to me if you're interested? |
The soundstage on the Getz/Gilberto is awesome!
The extension/natural sound if the sax is greatly appreciated, so breathy |
Yeah Brian, I bought it in a package deal with my Classic 3 Sig SE.
It’s just been so long since I had it on. I’m slow to make changes but I think that can be a good thing. |
@skyscraper,
I love my lp copy. Reminds me of his earlier stuff |
Haven't dealt that far into it brother.
Sometimes, letting the ,(your) senses just go.... makes a big difference. |

If you ever run across Luna’s box set at a good price, snag it.

Brian,
Thinking more about it, finding a great solution for isolation will be the best decision going forward. Once you hear the Trumpet, isolated, you'll be able to evaluate tubes in a better way.
PM me, I have a good solution for you to try. |
@bkeske,
As you can read, tubes are another rabbit hole. |
My former friend had a Herron. Tube rolling was Noticeable |
Joan Armatrading "S/T" Intervention Records produced by the great Glyn Johns Recommended!! |

Travis "The Man Who" Craft Recordings
Craft is releasing on vinyl, for the first time, all of Travis. I think some would like. Perfectly crafted pop. Their front man, Fran Healy also has a great solo lp, Wreckorder. |
An interesting event to me,
A fellow music lover contacted me a few weeks ago with interest in the MyMat.
Turns out, he lives a couple miles from me.
Delivering next week. |
Ryan Bingham "Live" Needs a replacement.
On now..."Junky Star" |
Joan Armatrading "Show Some Emotion" pp/!!! |
|
I guess tubes are like us humans. They perform better in some designs than others. I don’t think one can say one tube of the same value can perform the same in all situations.
