@dahlcolor,

I wanted to welcome you to this thread. I apologize for @millercarbon response to your enthusiastic first post. Most here welcome you and will benefit from others' personal music posts. Don't let others get you down.
The Chris Rea lp is very enjoyable, much more than remembered. He sure transformed into a much different kind of artist.

New arrivals,

Father John Misty "Chloe and the Next 20th Century"

Suzanne Vega "Close-Up" series

" I called my sister Mary
Do you remember me.
Wanting to see
Come back to me .
Want to see you
Hoping to see you
Come home to me

Knowing we’ve grown apart
This doesn’t mean
We’re that far apart

Chorus
I know I’ll see you
On our family graveyard."
@mammothguy54,

I own "BIA" on dbl vinyl mastered by Stan Ricker, sounds fine to me.
Mary Gauthier "Live @ Blue Rock"

" I put on my dims
Somebody flashed their brights"..
Every year the family crowd becomes smaller and smaller.
If I was a songwriter, this would be great subject matter

From "The Last of The Hobo Kings"  "he knew how we were doing
by a sidewalk cigarette butt"...
Interesting......for the heck of it, I put on my Simply Vinyl copy. It’s decidedly more open, top end air/extension. The low end however, isn’t as pronounced. I prefer the SV.

I believe the MFSL pressing' bass is overemphasized.
The Guns N’ Roses lp is up next. Realized it was not flat. Issue now resolved.

This is my first ever Guns N" Roses purchase.

This is a Back to Black pressing, which I've always enjoyed in the past
I love Sarah and that song always had an influence on me.

RIP Sarah & Kenny
Purple Mountains "S/T"

@boxer12, once one starts listening to David Berman (RIP), it’s hard to stop.
Hey @reubent,

I seem to recall a similar experience when I played a 45rpm EP of Shawn Colvin. I'll get back to you.
Starting to compare my copies of Shawn Colvin "Steady On" 33 prm and the Maxi-Single 45 rpm.

Will check speed with my Sutherland Timeline/VPI ADS

I should mention that this 33rpm lp is the most played lp in my collection, so I’m extremely familiar with it.

Even so as I bought a spare copy.
@mammothguy54,

Don’t know what to tell you brother but DON’T pay $400 for that lp! Try ebay?

They are located on the west coast where, IMO, most great lps can be found
