Uriah Heep ‎– High And Mighty (Bronze 1976)
Sharing the oddness with Uber. It’s really a Ken Hensley solo effort. Weep in Silence and Confession are okay. The rest is very US-style AOR.

Black Sabbath ‎– Paranoid (Vertigo 1970)

Unfortunately only VG vinyl. One little jump otherwise ok. Some surface noise. I'll run it through the US.

Both Sabbath on system 2.

The Horseflies ‎– Human Fly (Cooking Vinyl 1987)

Another from the 'bought due to great reviews back in the day' pile. Solid.

Tone-Lōc ‎- Cool Hand Lōc (Delicious Vinyl 1991)

UB40 ‎– Present Arms In Dub (DEP Int 1981)

Sub time. 1 side each. I've a headache.

@Uber Yeah, the early stuff was sorta cool in a retro-LOTR vibe. But man, there is some utter gutter in the later stuff.
@tomic601
loads more detail on the MoFi but it seems oddly compressed
I heard an Acoustic Sounds demo of before and after records and it was the same deal. Sounded great 'n' all but I preferred the originals.
Roy Harper - Descendants of Smith (EMI 1988)

Roy Harper - Born in Captivity (HardUp 1984)

Roy Harper - Death Or Glory (Awareness 1992 CD)

Ruby Braff / George Barnes Quartet With John Giuffrida & Wayne Wright – S/T (Chiaroscuro Records 1975)

Martin Stephenson & The Daintees ‎– Boat To Bolivia (Kitchenware 1986)

A Gem. Folk, reggae, country, blues.

Home-Service ‎– Alright Jack (Making Waves 1985)

As British as it gets. Bought it when it came out due to rave reviews.
Brian, I think you might be bored with those boring cartridges.
London Super Gold/Decapod is what you need.
Barbara Dane ‎– Sings The Blues With 6 & 12 String Guitar (Folkways 1964)

Diane Schuur & The Count Basie Orchestra

@big_greg  Yup. Welcome to my world!
Elly Stone ‎– S/T (Columbia 1969)

Different. If you like your folk left of center, take a chance on this. It's wonderful.

Ian & Sylvia ‎– Lovin’ Sound (MGM 1967)

I’ve a soft spot for these two.
This German stereo pressing has a very w-i-d-e soundstage.
King Curtis ‎– Soul Serenade (Capitol 1964)

Good album. Curtis was attempting to carry an air conditioner into his apartment when a Juan M. refused to move from the entrance. A fight ensued and M. stabbed Curtis. 37 y.o.
Jimmy Rushing With Oliver Nelson And His Orchestra ‎- Every Day I Have The Blues (Bluesway 1967)

Dottie West ‎– Feminine Fancy (RCA Victor 1969)

Smooth voice. Sentimental. The sort of stuff your old man might have played while making his move on your mom.
Jackie DeShannon ‎– New Image (Imperial 1967)

Mint gem and superb recording. Can't beat plaintive sixties songs sung by a beautiful woman.

Lana Cantrell ‎- The Now Of Then! (RCA 1969)

Lovely voice. Sweet recording. Nostalgia in abundance.

@tomic601 First laugh of a tough day! Man, these 60s records are where it's at! And those female vocals...
Cap'N John Handy With The Claude Hopkins Band ‎- Introducing Cap'N John Handy (RCA Victor ‎1967)
Josh White ‎– S/T (Archive Of Folk Music 1967 mono)
I prefer his older work.

Anita Bryant ‎– How Great Thou Art (Columbia 1968)
Interesting historic white gospel but ultimately pretty awful.
1/2 side each.

Pulp ‎– Different Class (Island 1995)

One of my favorites. Bought it when it came out and it’s now a collector’s item. $$

Albinoni, Corrette, Handel, Mozart ‎– Adagio For Organ And Strings / Concerto For Organ, Flute And Strings / Organ Concerto No. 13 In F / Organ Sonata No. 4 In D (Turnabout 1967)

Not the most dynamic recording. Why leave an inch of dead wax?
Hank Locklin - Bummin' Around
(RCA Camden 1969)

Nice recording. Old-style country honky tonk.
Marcy Lutes - Debut
Julie London - Love Letters
Julia Lee & Her Boyfriends - A Porter’s Love Song
Talk Talk - The Colour of Spring
The Osborne Brothers - Up the Hill and Down
Marianne Faithful - Go Away From My World
Eddie Haywood - At the Piano
Alberta Hunter ‎– Amtrak Blues (Columbia 1980)

Classic. Great recording. A must-have in any collection.
Marlene Dietrich ‎- Wiedersehen Mit Marlene (Capitol 1960 mono)

It's in German. Who cares? What a voice.
Ferde Grofe - Played By 101 Strings ‎– Grand Canyon Suite
(Somerset ‎1959)

"Westrex cutter head driven by a Sculley lathe."
They must have done it right. Cost me a few bucks. Sounds excellent. Sweet as a nut!
Carmen McRae ‎– Bittersweet (Focus 1964 mono)

Sparse arrangement lets her voice do its thing. Mostly very good.
Jane Morgan ‎- The Second Time Around
(Kapp 1961 mono)

Not bad. Not great. Nice. Meh.

Florian Zabach ‎- 'Till The End Of Time (Mercury 1959 mono)

Violin maestro with some of-the-era syrupy violin ballroom orchestration. But the playing and recording is warm and glorious.
