what would be a good mat for a VPI SCOUT JWM9

do i need a mat,and if yes which one, for the VPI SCOUT .thanks in advance for the help.pat

I like the sound better without it. I do have Herbies other products & have had very good results, but I think the VPI acrylic platters are pretty good & don't need a mat.
