Some info from a Craigslist ad (Vancouver).
"Gubin Audio Amplifier - moon rover manufactured in Russia.
uses 6L6 Power tubes in class A operation.
Stereo Power Amp Chassis Complete No Tubes.
- This unit has damage to the Power Resistors in the Tube Plate Circuits
from Shorted Tubes gone Red Plate.
and uses Russian Military Power Caps. No Schematic for this Amp.
Has 1 Power Transformer and 2 Output Transformers under the Metal Cover.
All Documentation is provided with the Tube spec sheet
and Russian Serial Dated & Numbered production forms.
Has all the Parts inside as it was and the switches - controls where loosened off
and pushed inside to prevent any damage or bent parts during
storage but are still in tacked.
Ceramic sockets too! with all the nuts and bolts washers etc.
This is a Russian Iron Machine and can be restored or rebuilt or re worked
using new parts and altering the design to suit. A you do project.
All you do as add new Caps - Resistors & Tubes and you have a ready
to go Stereo Tube Power Amp that looks good but needs the guts done over.
