What touchscreen panel is Michael Fremer using in this video?

Hello,

To control the digital portion of his stereo system, Michael Fremer uses a touchscreen display to access his library, and maybe beyond that (stream Tidal etc.). How does this setup come about? Is it just a monitor and there is a computer somewhere out of sight, or is it something else, and does anyone know what software that is?
Seems very slick.

It's a Meridian Sooloos Control 15.  It's been around for a long time.  You need Meridian music storage components to work with it.  I don't know if it's able to stream Tidal or Qobuz.

Thanks very much. That’s it.

Looks like there is not yet a comparable product for Roon. Closest would be running it off an iPad.
Hey @gmercer: why would you need this? It’s an outdated tech. As a Roon user, you can do all that from the comfort of your iPad or iPhone.

In addition, are you familiar with Roon Display feature? I have a dedicated display for just that, when I don’t want to bother with my iPad. Works awesome for viewing on big screen what is playing on my Roon driven system
Hi Thyname, I am not familiar with Roon Display, will check it out. I liked the look of having a touchscreen like that to control everything digital but you are right, an iPad gets the same job done. That's the route I'm going to go.
