after lots of help here and research, I got my 1st MC, Vintage SUT into Vintage Tube Preamp into tube amp, so 'favorite' is 'first and only', but I highly recommend this combo.

Vintage and Versatile SUT, Fidelity Research FRT-4. 3 inputs, 4 settings, PASS for MM. I run my 3 tonearms thru it, on to mx110z MM phono. I use the 10 ohm setting, +26db; 20.68 x factor: thus that cartridge results 6.3mV; 110 impedance
