What is your amp Triad?

When I see posters asking about solid state amplifiers I usually recommend three of them, not because I like all of them, but because I feel they are different enough that a listener will definitely come out with a preference.

In the old days I might have said Conrad Johnson and Audio Research, one being euphonic and juicy the other cold and limp. (Let the flames begin!)  as well as Tandberg for sheer drive.

What about you? What are your counterpoints in amps?
