I know they have been around years. However, I see many music -gear reviewers with super expensive turntables running the Denon 103/103r. I'm thinking of trying one myself, possibly one of the ZU adaptations.
Not to re boot the thread, but I agree with the guy above, short and sweet...it sounds darn good. That's all that matters in the end. Oh, and like he said, they are cheap...I can buy 10 for the price of one high end cart....
Just to add, it's also bull that it needs to be used in some super heavy tonearm. It will sound just fine in a medium mass arm. Have one installed on my thorens td 1500 with 14 gram arm, sounds good to my ears.
