I really liked the K2 remasters and bought a bunch of them back when I was still buying CDs. The JVC K2 process is the same as they make XRCDs but the discs are not as high quality construction wise as XRCDs as I understand it. I've found them to sound uniformly excellent though I've heard some call the K2s too bright.
