What happened to Audiowaves Hifi Alan Grau?

Anyone know what happened to Alan Grau and Audiowaves HiFi?

I bought a phone cartridge in 2023 and that was my last interaction with him.

I purchased from Alan on several occasions back about 15 years ago. Alan was an extremely nice person to deal with. The last time I spoke to Alan at Audiowaves was approx. 6 or 7 years ago. Anytime I called after that, there was no answer, and no returned messages. Alan was a great dude, though.

This snapshot from February 2025 states "We’re closed, thank you for 29 great years". https://web.archive.org/web/20250210064458/https://audiowaveshifi.com/ According to some of the public records sites, Alan is 71 so it sounds like he probably retired and dipped out quietly.
