What + experience have you had with an indoor FM antenna?

Right now, I cannot do an outdoor antenna, so thinking of adding an indoor one.  I had the Magnum Dynalab indoor antenna and would say it was O.K. ....I have not been very interested in amplified antennas.  I am not in a good FM area and find online FM to be limited in sound quality, frequency response...and way too much talk...even some esoteric online seem to have hosts/D.J.s that cannot shut up and play music.

The FM radio band is from 88 to 108 MHz between VHF television Channels 6 and 7.

Yes, an old-fashioned TV antenna in the attic dedicated to FM. This type if it fits:

anyone know about this type?

Mine fits because I hung it from strings from the rafters, right over my main system. Aimed right at WBGO 88.3 Jazz station. Later I learned here, it’s antenna is not in Newark, but in NYC, luckily it’s the same angle from my house so aimed at Newark worked.

my mx110z tube tuner/preamp: all the reviews say great, ’IF’ you give it a good signal. It sounds awesome.

Meanwhile, I have a similar TV antenna on the chimney. I put it back after Superstorm Sandy. Had my generator, but no cable/signal for 8 days. Most people never see free ’over the air’ digital TV. It can be as good as and sometimes better than cable.

I split it and also use it for FM for my Garage/Shop System’s receiver. Same thing WBGO is all I ever listen to in the house.

I have Bob Carver’s TX-2 AM/FM Tuner, it’s a good choice for weak signal areas.

Public radio while driving because my 2012 Volvo C70’s Antenna SUCKS!!! It won’t get WBGO where many other vehicles do, except when the sky is overcast, reflecting more signal strength.

Anybody know a fix, a signal boost without noise for Volvo antennas?
