@big_greg and All,
I streamed Ray LeMontagne - "Monovision" last evening. It didn't really do anything for me either. I did like one song - "I Was Born to Love You" and it is the only straight forward, bluesy cut on the record IMHO. For me, it always seems like he's trying to hard. "I was Born to Love You" is just a simple, straight forward bluesy cut and I liked it quite a bit. |

Regarding " Monovision",
It maybe one's systen is set up on the bright side?
Anyway, I do believe more analog listening is required to make a final decision. |
It takes a better turntable/cart to make a claim for any particular lp, in order to make a final conclusion.
Listening on a streaming service isn't the best option, just the easier option.
|
@slaw In regards to Monovision, it's nothing to do with technology or analog or digital, it's the music itself and whether it connects or not. |
@big_greg.
I appreciate your perspective.

I've been listening to Radio Paradise main mix and rock mix most of the day. |
Interesting. No idea why but Radio Paradise has stopped working on my phone. Stopped about 6 weeks ago. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still nothing. Shows me the song in the mix but just sits there on 00.00 for time elapsed even though says it is playing. |
