What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

The Thorns - S/T

Spotify

Is Pete Droge, Matthew Sweet and Shawn Mullins a Supergroup? Maybe.....
Airstream - The Book Of Sounds

Qobuz

Trying to get outside of my usually music choices and try some mellow music.  Perfect for a rainy afternoon.
Queen - Greatest Hits

Qobuz Hi-Res

Doing some power listening today while catching up on some reading. When I retired I promised myself I would catch up on my reading and music. Finally getting around to it.
Dead Can Dance - "Dionysus"

Spotify

I don't understand the praise for this "band". I find it pretty boring. What say you?
Blank & Jones - Milchbar - Seaside Season 12, Qobuz Hi-Res.  Some nice mellow chill electronic

Rina Sawayama -  Sawayama, Qobuz.  I don't listen to much pop music, but this is really catchy and well done.

Jamael Dean - Oblivion, Qobuz.  Nice modern piano jazz.
Shabazz Palaces - The Don Of Diamond Dreams, Qobuz Hi-Res.  I don't listen to much rap, but I like these guys, and not just because they're from Seattle.
Nothing hate streaming as sound is much better on my Esoteric 3XS CD player.

i think lots of audiophiles like Dead Can Dance because it can really show off their systems. I kinda like Dionysius (my first DCD album); it reminds me of Peter Gabriel’s “Last Temptation of Christ” soundtrack. Listened to that a lot in grad school.
Listening to a playlist on Qobuz, “Reggae from A to Z: Ska & Rocksteady”.  Started off with Desmond Dekker and The Aces “Israelites”...
Beastie Boys - Paul’s Boutique.   Been meaning to listen to this for years, but never came across the record.  The joys or streaming...
@slaw I was wondering where he went also.  Hopefully all is well and he's just busy.
Lucinda Williams - Good Souls Better Angels, Qobuz Hi-Res

This one isn't grabbing me like her stuff usually does.  And I love Lucinda.  Might need a couple more listens to see if it clicks.
On 4/19/20 I saw this posted by @uberwaltz

"Th-Th-The, Th-Th-The, Th-Th... That's all, folks!"

Looks like that was his last post to date. Not sure what prompted it, but looks like he may have checked out of the asylum (at least for now).

I hope all is well with Kevin and his family, and I hope he comes back soon. He's been an outstanding member of the tribe.
Sunwatchers - Oh Yeah?  On Qobuz

I found this album off a New Jazz playlist, but honestly it sounds like prog rock to me.
It's not my place to share our private conversation.  It's easy to message anybody on the site though.
It’s been a glorious week of downtime.
got a lot of crap taken care of and firing on 7.5 cylinders now.
will just be very sporadic posts in the future and I am not even following any threads so anybody wants to get my attention it will be by message or using @.
Good to see you back Uber. I'm being lazy at the moment, listening to Spotify. About to go get some albums to spin.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here.   Caught Miley Cyrus’ performance on SNL.   Nice try, but *meh*. Nice video, though.
Lucinda Williams - Good Souls Better Angels.
Qobuz Hi-Res.  Wonderfully engineered album. Don’t recommend listening to this if you are blue.  A dark album!
geoffkait, no twerking.  Nice guitar and singing around a fire pit.  Nicely filmed.  But her rendition was not to my taste.
One Three Seven ….. The Pineapple Thief.
Qobuz.

Of late I have been listening to a LOT of new to me Prog rock following leads via Roon.

Artists most who I have never heard of.
Some examples.

Magic Pie, Anathema, John Wesley, Haken, Frost, Comedy of Errors, The Mute Gods, The Tangent.
To name just a few….

Good days indeed.
Hey Uber! It is great to see you back. Give a listen to Jeff Beck and The Jan Hammer Group - "Live". Side two is great Prog, IMHO of prog. Start at track 5 - "Darkness / Earth in Search of a Sun". Or just start at the beginning and enjoy the whole album. :~)

I had not listened to this album in a few years, but recently (before the Great Lockdown) found a nice used copy at my LRS for $2.99! What a steal........
Tom Misch - What Kinda Music.  Qobuz Hi-Res

Whim - Abuzz In The Abyss    Qobuz CD
Fanfare & Fantasy ….. Comedy of Errors.

Qobuz.

Thanks for the heads up Reubent.
