Well, I can just tell you what I did. I run a shotgun bi-wire pair of cables with spade connectors that I was pretty happy with. Then, a cable designer said I should try his wire jumpers with banana plugs in addition to the bi-wire cables. I can’t really explain why, but everything is clearer and tighter with the jumpers and they haven’t left my system since. Maybe something to try, and in general the solid plate jumpers that usually come with speakers suck, so even just upgrading them to better quality cable jumpers is likely worth exploring. Just my $0.02 FWIW.
