Watching for grins.....

Saw this in one of my 'follow the magic links'.... I don't think I've ever encountered such a complete stack, including the rack....
Was someones' audio endgame 'once upon a...'
Price has nearly tripled in 5 days with 10 to go.....

Not that I'm more than just curious, but I live 2ish hours from Win/Salem and know how to pack proper... ;)

...never in LA when this sort of thing attracts....and the teleporter is still funky on re-assembly.....time for some Damnmitol...*chagrined G*

IDKnow, either.... ;)

@bigtwin It's certainly more attractive than my current stock of mongrel this 'n thats....  No clue as to any vintage pedigree nor specs, but Google Lens or a audio AI could perhaps suss the items involved.
Add speakers and a TT of the era; you're flow to go...
I peruse auctions for various 'n sundry.  Got the matching micro-washer base and the storage base for our LG washer & dryer with the finish to match them recently for a sixth of the retail, the former still in its' original box.
I don't dare bid on the stack...spouse would suspend me by thumbs and cojones over the BBQ, a unpleasant fate.
Besides, I need a new cell.  My 4a got nearly bricked by the 'battery update' and turned it into a psychotic POS.  Hard to keep it charged, it keeps wanting me to change the text server ( I don't like having 6 of them demanding my attention }, and if spouse calls when I've got anything else in use I can't answer her.  Have to wait her out and call back after quitting....
Pre-'update', it was fine for my needs.  Can't get the thing to sync with anything more than my hearing aids....
A handful of glitch with a cracked screen.  Only thing that kept it from bricking then was the 'transparent aluminum' screen from Corning I applied when new.  A surprise there, since it was the only alternative to iPhones offered at the time.

I'm going to see if that's available for the 9a's, which are reduced to 400$ currently.

That, and some d*ck stole some cordless tools from an installation we were at last week.  Hope one of the batteries burns his abode or car to ash....

....since I brought this up and feel vaguely obliged to comment on an ongoing hoarse race.... ;)

Up to 1.6K$, 18 bids with 9 days to go.

The Spec 4 amp is 300wRMS from '77....a couple of them on eBay are nudging  3.6K$ by their lonesome...
Various similar stacks are asking 5.5 > 12K$ with variations on what's included or not.... One offering has a mpeg of it playing (and no, I don't know whos' speakers are in use...NFS...*L*  At least, no included There...).
@curiousjim , I remember that some of the major players of the time had their own 'mega-systems', this being a good example of 'everything all at once' for those with the ducats for the dive. Early '80's I ran Kenwoods' tuner, pre, and L-07 mono amps, back when Crown, Krell, and others were pushing the envelopes....
Rare, this stack full boat could include the TT and a routing selector for multiple tape decks and peripherals.
I've got 2 'routers'; a 6x6 manual and a JVC AV version to play with....complicated enough to amuse and bemuse yours unruly

@bigtwin Functional, but wouldn't you rather treat the room and have a plush chair instead?  *L*  Lets' watch where the ceiling is on this....;)

@mark200mph
*L*  That’s the trick....gettum hooked early.... ;)

Ordered a Pixel 9A last night....Comes with an AI that I can argue with and tell it lies....*LOL*

@bigtwin *L*  Because I can only read minds on the highway.... ;)

"....she's going to cut my tush off.....Yup, Hi, sweetie...*itch..."

(Grew up in SoCA....haven't seen everything, but would rather not....)

...the only danger is if you come down with The Itch for Vintage' Volume and fill out the forms...compete with strangers over the stranger still...damage your depth of dollars on that which makes the SigOther dry up your Fun Time....

But I'm just rambling as typical.....😏

O, 'ell, everyone but the brain ded seem to be in a rush...even here in 'sleepy Appalachia'.  I can be 80 on 40 and still get a 4wheeler Cowboy Cusstom that's never seen mud on me like flypaper.
'Big Twin'?  Assuming a HD...'soK, I used to Yama about.  Too fragile of late, I'd grind up like cheap pork with just a fall-over at a stop.  Still can carve like a lightsabre with the Focus, would love an R version.

"Not skeered, jus' irritable..." *LOL*  Still leave 'exits' for the bikes, since some here think a bicycle belongs in the rough anyway.
Still wish I had some aerosol LSD....
"You drive like you're on acid, may as well Be There Now..." *pfht* ...Bye'.."

To Our Monitoring Overseers....I'm Joking.  Aimed at no one in particular....'cept for The Chump.

Next auction:  Apple Cider Equipment Liquidation
Hard Cider, anyone?  Fun liquid....got a guide dog drunk one lost evening long ago.
Owner was miffed....":Jacks' can walk me into a pole sober!  Now, even he won't recognize a curb.... Who's driving me home?  Better, who's sober enough to do that?!"
