Warm-up

All systems sound better warmed up but my cartridge makes the biggest difference of all my components! Anyone noticed that? I generally play both sides of an album before sitting down to boogie!

Dear Pops: Yes you are right, if it is 1 or 3 sides depend of the cartridge.

Siddh, you can test about: when your system is already warm ( after play 2 hours your CDP or whatever. ) switch to analog and try to hear fro differences after 1-3 sides I think you can hear the difference.
