What's the diferences between the Aries 2 and TNT platter? I have the Aries platter and bearing set. It's much better design and sound the HW19 MK III platter (lead lining on bottom) and bearing, which I also have.
VPI HW-19 changes
Noting that the VPI mk3 to mk4 upgrade kit has:
Dropped the TNT platter and substituted the Aries platter. The price has been lowered to $600.
The off-the-shelf HW19 mk4 is still showing as having a TNT platter.
VPI also dropped their email Tech Support address from their Site, BTW. Awaiting a response via Fax.
