VK-31 or other BAT preamp upgrade

Has anyone tried upgrading the stock VK-31 with either Super-Pak or Six-Pak? If not the VK-31, then any other BAT preamp that uses 6922s? I'm considering these upgrades. Thanks.

The cost of the upgrade is just too much. By the way, I may sell my VK-31SE soon, any one interested?
