I have some LPs from those clubs, but used them more for CDs. That being said, I have a Randy Travis " Storms of Life " LP from ( I believe BMG ) that is excellent sounding.
Vinyl from Music Clubs
As we all know from the 70’s and the 80’s there were 2 big music clubs - Columbia House and later the BMG club- as we look for that vintage vinyl how often do you encounter records that say Columbia house or BMG? if not on the sleeve but on the record themselves? I think the quality is there based on the label the original label- for example Columbia records has same quality as Columbia house and BMG for RCA RECORDS…..thoughts ???
