The better and much more expensive cartridge is definitely X-1IID (Beryllium/Shibata) factory pre-mounted on Victor headshell, this cartridge is a killer! I have NOS sample.

JVC Victor X-1 with DT-X1 IIE Stylus and titanium cantilever. Would this be better than the JICO Shibata? Thanks.
