Vandersteen Treo vs 3A Sig as upgrade

Were there any speakers other than Treo's in the listening room in the dealers showroom.?

Could it be that most Treo owners are too busy, probably listening the the Grateful Dead or Schumann.

Unlike other subs
A properly high Passed pair of Vandersteen 2WQs will correct for this
by adjusting the High pass to optimize the main speakers
Tighter or fatter, your call, your preference, you achieve a smoother in room response, dramatically reducing the distortion with the main amp, speaker, room pairing.
The 2WQ subs offer a Level output and Contour setting tighter to punchier this allows optimizing into a room with either a wood floor to a cement floor.

In a nutshell the CT Carbon Tweeters and further enhanced crossover design within the Treo CT is more like there are no speakers in front of you.

Its real simple,Vandersteens latest efforts have been geared to work well with friendlier domestic positioning ,sometimes 7 to 14 inches out from the rooms front wall.

In a medium to large rooms (with a closer to wall position) the Treos offer a very well balanced design and high visual acceptance.

I don't doubt your comparisons outcome for a second and i know you can hear.

 Had you listened to the Treo in this near wall position its power response
 improves immensely along with smoother in room response add a ballsier solid state design and i think you would of discovered its magic.

That being said there is no excuse for cubic inches and the 3A Sig's
 10 inch and 8 inch do a super job for Rock and roll for which a Treo would need a 2WQ to move more bass.
