Vandersteen 3A sig break in.

Just bought Vandersteen 3A Sigs and am wondering what changes I can expect after the 120 hour break in period. Will the change be dramatic or subtle? They only have about 20 hrs on them now and seem to change from day to day.

Thanks

Braro,

I'm sure you will enjoy your 3A Sigs very much. I recently got a used pair this summer.

Why don't you Vandersteen himself if you have specific questions about before/after loudspeaker break-in? Just a phone call to California...

I hooked up my 3A Sigs to my old Parasound HCA1000a for a 4 days straight. (over 96 hrs straight) One speaker wired out of phase and they were placed face to face. About "10" on the volume knob. After that, into the listening room and hooked up to the McIntosh 275, 4 ohm tap. EXCELLANT!!! Yes, congrats...on your fine choice.
I believe these will be my last speakers for a very, very, very long time.
If they are like the 2 sigs the highs will relax a bit, not detail but a hint of brightness will go away. The bass will become more defined. Takes about 150 to 200 hours to break in. Congrats and enjoy.
