Upgrade to a better server. Ideas?

I have a lumin x1 and would like to upgrade my server, which is now a nucleus.

Is there anything out there that just satisfies the server needs without going into the streamer and DAC stuff?

I am only focusing on the server. The Innuos ZEN line is a server first and foremost, with a streamer built in, and an optimized excellent one. You can certainly use it as a server only, like I do with my ZENITH MK3 for my secondary system. By that token, your existing Roon Nucleus is not just a server. Can you stream out of it? You sure can.
