Upgrade from VPI Nomad

I’ve had a first gen VPI Nomad for a few years now but am looking to upgrade. It’s been a great turntable but with a wife and kid now wanting to spin some vinyl in our main family room, it’s time to get something else for my office rig and share the Nomad with the family. Problem is the Nomad was my first turntable and I don’t have much in-person vinyl listening to compare with it to know where exactly I want to/should improve. I would say that I prefer warm and rich over supremely analytical and love great sound staging. I also enjoy the plug & play simplicity I’ve had with the Nomad and don’t want something I’ll constantly have to be fiddling with to maintain it’s great sound. In the office I mostly listen at low to moderate volumes to a wide array of music but rarely anything high energy like hard rock or heavy metal. Paired equipment will be Kef LS50 speakers driven by a Creek evo100 integrated amp. No subwoofer at this time so bass is not paramount. Phono stage will have to be added as the Nomad had one built in. I definitely want to buy new for the turntable but would consider used on the phono stage. I’ve had a good experience with VPI, but thought I should at least try out another brand to experience something different.
On my short list are:
Clearaudio Concept Wood w/ Satisfy Tonearm & Concept MC

Eat C-Major w/ Ortofon Quintet Blue or Sumiko Bluepoint Evo III (looks beautiful but not sure if it’s more flash than substance since nobody seems to talk about them)

Rega Planar 8 w/ Ania (or a price stretch for the Apheta 3)

Any thoughts on these turntables/carts and particularly any comparisons between them would be appreciated. Any suggestions for phono stage (<$800) to pair with them would also be great (leaning towards a Musical Surroundings Phonomena II or Vincent PHO701 but for no particular reason I can justify). Thanks.
