Ugraditus is calling....again. Phono stage?

There is likely nothing wrong at all with present phono stage but you know how it is.

Present analog front end consists of.

Nottingham Analog Spacedeck with Spacearm.
Shelter 501 mk3 cartridge with maybe 250 hours on it, regularly treated with Lyra.
Dynavector P75 mk3 phono stage.
Feeds into Lyngdorf 2170 via Nordost Red Dawn RCA cables.

My thoughts were that possibly the Dynavector is the weakest link and would pay most dividend on an upgrade but.....

What do I perceive I am lacking right now?
Really hard to say as this is highest quality analog front end ever owned.
Possibly lacking a little in sheer scale and dynamics? Bass is very very good, instruments are well separated and defined.
Just as an overall presentation I feel it lacks that final wow factor as a whole.
Not sure if that makes any sense?
Please comment honestly especially if you feel it is another area that may reap larger benefits. Or if should just leave well alone....lol.

Oh btw I am fairly sure it is setup correctly in regards to vta etc, at least to the best of my abilities right now. And yes setting it up correctly from initial purchase did make considerable gains in sq.

uberwaltz is there anything that you dont like about the goldnote? I'm waiting for my unit to ship.
Received my Gold note PH10 this week and a bit hard and closed in sounding initially but now after 15 plus hours it's really opening up and singing. For $1300 it's well worth every cent IMO
uberwaltz you were right the PH10 has taken another leap forward in resolution and musicality after 70 hrs of use. Just love this phono stage.
Don’t turn my PH10 off except every 7-10 days will shut down for 2-3 hrs then turn back on. I think it helps break-in better this based on how I’ve done other gear over the years. I’m also experimenting with AC cords my dealer is loaning me to try, yes they are making a nice improvement in SQ more to come.
I've been enjoying the PH10 and can say ive never listened so much and so long to my albums they just seem so natural and clean now.
Anyone hear anything regarding the optional PS?
@robelvick
IMO only I think it will be hard to top the PH10 at your price point but please keep all posted in what you try.
Anyone hear the new Gold Note PSU-10? I heard it is retailing at $1250! Ouch. Maybe $750 and I would try one.
@chakster who did you order your PH-10 from and can we ask what the price was? I paid $1295 NIB which I thought was very good. I also heard that GoldNote will be raising the price of the PH-10 by end of summer. :-(
The new power supply for the PH-10 has been out for awhile now, anyone try one or even hear one?
@chakster 1k Euro is around $1150 +/- $50 USD. I paid $1250 from Sounds Of Silence for my PH-10 and have full warranty from them. I had contacted Gold Note in Italy initally and they informed me they would not honor updates/warranty if any Gold Note products are bought from outside a Country from where it was purchased not that I've heard of any issues with their products. Just seems an unnecessary risk for a $100 IMO.
Enjoy your PH10 it's a wonderful phono stage.
@chakster sorry I thought you lived in the US.
Keep us posted on your thoughts on the PH-10 but give it at least 100 hrs of break-in to open up.
@chakster if you like it now just wait till you reach the 100 hour mark! It really will open up and sing.
Enjoy
@chakster  understand I love the outdoors and play a lot of golf but every night I relax and enjoy a few albums.
If anyone gets to hear the PSU10 please post impressions. Yes seems a bit steep in price but may just be worth it if it gives a good sonic improvement

I bought the ps for $875 plus shipping and PP fees from sounds of silence. Still expensive for a power supply upgrade but wanted the matching unit.
@uberwaltz let all know when you pull the trigger and get the Gold Note power supply and your impressions.
