I'm late to this thread, but I owned the D1s with the Decade center channel and some SuperTowers for surround speakers. It was one of the best 2 channel/home theater combinations I have ever heard. If you have a decent spread between your main speakers, the center channel is a good addition, and the Decade center blends in perfectly with the Decade mains.
