Two way Satori TW29R-B & Satori WO24P-8 9.5" Egyptian Papyrus Cone Woofer - 8 ohm

do you think there is to much gap between Satori WO24P-8 9.5" Egyptian Papyrus Cone Woofer - 8 ohm and Satori TW29R-B Ring Dome Tweeter?

had someone already did this? i think they could sound great.

i was thinking about doing a crossover at 1000hz what do you think?

But it would be very hard, if not impossible to get them to mate as a 2 way. Seems that no matter where you cross them over, there would be problems. either the tweet would have to be crossed over too low, which would help the mids. A driver that big would sound kind of hollow and nasally trying to reproducer mids. But, to help mitigate that, you’d have to cross the tweet too low, thus degrading power handling. I have a 2 way with the same tweet and the 6" driver that are extremely good! I am not saying you couldn’t get something that sounded good, but it would not be optimized. You’d be missing out on what each of those drives is actually capable of. You might want to post your question over on the DIY audio forums. Some very knowledgeable and friendly people over there.
