Turntable for vinyl transfers and archiving.

I do a lot of restoration / mastering and the source is often vinyl. In the next couple weeks I'm upgrading and like some recommendations for a new setup. My budget for the turntable, cartridge and pre-amp is $1000-$1500. Any suggestions?
