Turntable and a Digital Pre/Pro
I am shopping around for a multi-channel Pre/Pro and was looking at the digital units from Meridian (e.g. 561/565/568).
I keep hearing that the Meridian digital pre/pros are typically best in their class for 2-channel music.
What happens when you run a good quality turntable (Rega P3) through one of these units?
Is this a ridiculous endeavor? Should I invest in an analog multi-channel pre-amp instead?
(McIntosh and Bryston come to mind, albeit they are somewhat more expensive)
