Tubes

I have been a tube gear aficionado for almost 40 years. I have accumulated an enormous number of small tube and power tube tubes. I am getting out of the hobby, Happy with the tubes that I do own, not needing most of the rest of them, but not sure how to dispose of the rest of them. I don’t really have enough documentation to sell the tubes that I have. I’d appreciate any advice.

I was going to say Audiomart, but since you don’t really know exactly what you have, and if you are asking this question I suppose you are not familiar or inclined to selling dozens/hundreds of small parcels and shipping them around the country, I would call up the people who do this for a living, and unload them all at once.

give Brent Jessee a call, or Vintage Tube services- they will buy them.

Tubesandmore.com  Antique Electronic Supply will gladly buy bulk tubes.  I've sold to them by the box.  Email them and offer a list of tubes and they will tell you if they want them.  Check out their tube list to get an idea of values.  Obviously tubes that test new in boxes are worth the most.

@elevick , thanks for that info ...never heard of them.  I have a drawer full of unused tubes.

@dshuler   Also, you might find pretty reliable vendor on EBay who may be open to buying.
