Sounds like a really nice setup and good choices. Can you break down what a "more musical" sound means to you? Also, since tubes and room can shape the way things sound, can you say more about those?
Tube Preamp: Cary SLP05 vs Allnic L3000
I’m in the market for either the Cary SLP05, Audio Research REF3, or the Allnic L3000. They are in similar price range. I tend to prefer a more musical sound. Wondering if anyone had experience with both and which would you recommend? My speakers are the Maggies 3.5R and I’m biamping it with both solid state and tube amplifiers.
